Long day today. For some reason I couldn’t fall asleep last night. At 2am I rolled over and looked at my clock. Yup, it was late/early and when the alarm went off at 7am I was not ready for it.
In to work where I found out that I was going to be moving cubes today. Of course I move to a cube where no one else is sitting which makes the day seem even longer.
After a long day I finally get back to my apartment and try to relax. My thought was I’d take a short nap, recharge a bit and then be ready for the Vikings game. Nope, not going to happen. Just about everyone I know decides that this evening was the time to call and chat.
By about 6:30pm I’m done with the phone calls and go to start dinner. Dinner is ready, Vikes game is on and I’m ready to watch some football.
First drive the Vikes go down and score!! First game in exactly 29 years played outside in Minnesota (like football should be) and the Vikes are looking good. Woohoo!!! Skol Vikings!!
I should have turned the TV off at that point. From then on the game was very lopsided. It was bad enough that I turned it off and went to bed to chat with Tracy on the computer.
After a mundane 1/2 hour chat with Tracy (the norm lately) I’m on the computer typing this blog post.
Such an exciting life I lead, isn’t it?
