Seth Stohs Demographics Survey

Seth has had a survey up on his site all week asking the following:

1.Where are you from?
2.What is your age, or age range?
3.What brought you to SethSpeaks.net, and how long have you been reading this site?
4.What keeps you coming back to this site? (positives)
5.How could the site be improved?
6.What other sites do you frequent?
7.Any other thoughts or opinions? Favorite players? Minor leaguer? Just any thoughts you’d like to share.

As I have for the last couple years, I answered Seth’s call for info. Here was my email responding to the 7 questions. Just thought someone may be interested in me. BTW, any referenced blogs can be found on the right hand side of this site. Please visit them for your Twins news. These guys do a lot better job than I do in keeping you up-to-date on the Twins.

1. Born in Fridley, Minnesota but have lived in Montana since I was 9 (1986)

2. 30 years old now. Where have the years gone? Seems like I was just graduating from high school a couple years ago. Now I have a college degree, wife, a son and another kid on the way.

3. Started reading Aaron Gleeman way back when and found a link to your site. Between you and Aaron I decided to get into blogging (www.layingitontheline.com). I’m not nearly as consistent as you two though. I’m not sure how you work full time, have a kid and still have the time/desire to post daily.

4. If it’s related to the Twins, I’ll read it. I really like the Q&A’s and the info on the minor leagues.

5. Some of the formatting is a little weird when using Firefox. Other than that I can’t really see any need for changes. I could care less about American Idol but I don’t mind it being here. I talk politics and beliefs on my blog every now and then. It’s your site, do with it as you want.

6. Aaron Gleeman, Stick and Ball Guy, Twins Geek (although he’s even worse than me for updating lately and Pat Neshek’s site. Oh yeah, I’m a huge fan of Las Vegas (the place, not the show) so I visit www.lasvegastalk.com daily.

7. I wish I could find the desire to blog daily on my site. I really admire you and Gleeman because of your dedication.

Favorite player? I was/am a huge Reggie Jackson fan. I lived in Southern California for a couple years when Reggie was wrapping up his career with the Angels. I used to sit in the upper deck with my ball glove knowing that Reggie was going to rocket a ball up to me. Never happened but those memories from back then are ones that I will have forever. Doesn’t hurt any that I got to spend more time with my Dad to. ;)
