SI.com Hot stove fantasy report

SI.com -Hot stove fantasy report

Here’s a pretty good write-up showing the changes to this point in the American League. Kind of nice to find a place that has it all in one.

The good news? In the Central not much was done by the other teams, so the Twins should still be the favorite to win. The bad news? The Twins didn’t do anything to get them over the hump and make them true playoff contenders. Let’s hope the young guys can step up and surprise.

2005 Twins Projected lineup

Seth Seth Stohs Projected Lineup

Seth Stohs has the projected lineup for 2005 up on his site. Here’s what he has:

C – Joe Mauer

1B – Justin Morneau

2B – Michael Cuddyer

3B – Corey Koskie

SS – Jason Bartlett

LF – Shannon Stewart

CF – Torii Hunter

RF – Lew Ford

DH – Michael Restovich/Matthew LeCroy

B-Up C – Mike Redmond

U-IF – Nick Punto

U-IF – Juan Castro

B-Up OF – Michael Restovich/(one of Michael Ryan, Todd Dunwoody or Jason Tyner)

SP 1 – Johan Santana

SP 2 – Brad Radke

SP 3 – Carlos Silva

SP 4 – Kyle Lohse

SP 5 – JD Durbin

CL – Joe Nathan

RP 1 – Juan Rincon

RP 2 – Grant Balfour

RP 3 – Jesse Crain

RP 4 – JC Romero or Terry Mulholland

RP 5 – Joe Mays

I’m happy with that. Having Morneau, Mauer, Cuddyer and Ford in the lineup almost makes me giddy. I’ve wanted to see them all at once for a while now. At the very least there should be more homers next year. Can’t wait to see Morneau have a full season of jettisoning balls.

ZUG – The World’s Only Comedy Site

ZUG – The World’s Only Comedy Site

Just wanted to let everyone know about this site. The all natural prank was what started me reading the site. I was laughing so hard I started crying. My wife came in from the other room to make sure I was ok. Just read it and tell me what you think.

Tomorrow is the day we find out if Brad Radke and Corey Koskie will be Twins next year. Be sure to keep track of the goings on. Also read John Bonnes opinion and news. He’s pretty good at staying on top of developments.

All I can say is that I would love to have both guys back next year.
